Bush has to be bitch-slapped.
Someone has to do it... now, before it's to late.

Tuesday, March 21, 2006

Neo-conservatism, as practiced by George W. Bush and his allies, is doomed to fail.

Why?

Because it is based on fear.

Their central message is simple:

"There are those who hate the United States. Very angry men. Men with weapons of mass destruction. Men with no moral compass. Men who will do anything to kill Americans. Men for whom the death of Americans and the destruction of the United States is the be all and end all of their lives. And they will do anything to hurt you, hurt us. Nay, not just hurt but kill and destroy.

Only we can (and will) protect you. But you have to surrender everything to us. Your freedoms, your will, your common sense. You have to trust us, implicitly and unconditionally. Only then will we be able to protect you."

Make people frightened enough and they will follow and obey. But a hold based on fear can only last so long. The human psyche can only take so much. Eventually, people will refuse to be cowed, refuse to live a life based on fear, refuse to be cowed by it.

When that point is reached control is lost.

George W. Bush and the neo-conservatives do not respect the sanctity of life.

Sanctity of life?

Yes, sanctity of life you fucking right wing dimwit. The sanctity of life, of every single life... not just that of the fetus in the womb.

Do you think if they actually respected life, we would have Guantanamo? Abu Gharib? Rendition?

Do you think we would have tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of Iraqi dead because of this President's incompetence and unwillingness to devote the time, resources and effort to doing what has to be done to secure Iraq? Not to mention his proclivity to lie to the American citizenry about the true state of Iraq and the ultimate cost of his "flowering of democracy in the Middle East" project?

If these assholes respected life, do you think they would support even more tax cuts for the rich, while gleefuly squeezing the middle class?

If they truly, actually and deeply respected life, all life, don't you think they would have done more than just say, "We're ready" and actually been ready the night Katrina hit New Orleans and the Gulf Coast?

Do you?

Why aren't you mad?

Why do you continue to pledge allegiance to and blindly follow this idiot who likes to think of himself as an American emperor?

Why?

Nope, sorry, nothing here.

Bush and Co. still are the epitome of the evil neo-conservative incompetents. Iraq is still lurching toward civil war. Iran is still hell bent on processing its own nuclear fuel. Palestine is now ruled by Hamas, democratically elected by the way, and the U.S. and Israel are pulling a hissy fit. Bird flu has pretty much shown up everywhere. Oh, did you hear? The Supreme Court may just reverse Roe v. Wade.

Oh, by the way... Pssst.

The NSA is watching and reading, so be careful what you say.

Yes, Virginia, the world is still on fire.

It should really be the "other" party.

How much more incompetence can America and the world take?

"Best of all is when your troops are held in such awe that everyone comes to surrender. This is preferrable to winning by trickery, violence and slaughter."

- Sun Tzu, Art of War, Chp. 3 "Planning the Attack".

Reminds me of Cheney's, "Iraqis will welcome American troops as liberators" comment.

I'm betting that, in the deepest part of its being - the one that doesn't lie - this Chicken Hawk Administration is wondering, "Where the fuck did we go wrong?"

The fact that they haven't recognized that things have actually gone wrong is bad enough.

That, even if they did, they probably don't have a clue on how to fix the mess they made is worse.

I'm getting tired of quoting Sun Tzu to the Republican Chicken-Hawks controlling the White House and (unfortunately) the fate of a good chunk of humanity. But still - you would think they can't possibly be as dense and clueless as that, can they?

Anyway - here's another lesson from Sun Tzu President Chicken-Hawk failed to heed:

"Do not figure on opponents not attacking; worry about your own lack of preparation. When you can attack anywhere and defend everywhere, your military strategy is complete."

Sun Tzu, The Art of War, Chp. 6, Emptiness and Fullness.

Bush Declares Sacrifice in Iraq to Be 'Worth It'.

Point-by-point rebuttal of President "Chicken-hawk" Bush's speech:

1. There is no credible evidence that Saddam Hussein ever aided or abetted Al Qaeda or terrorists in general. This constant reference to September 11 is getting tiring.

2. The enemies America now faces in Iraq are enemies you created by the very act of invading Iraq.

3. It will only be a great turning point if you actually win (the war not just the battle). Right now, that's still up in the air. More importantly, a lot of people don't think you (or anyone in your administration for that matter) possess the kind of skills, foresight, vision and commitment necessary to win.

4. Ah, yes. Iraqi security forces. Security forces so riddled with infiltrators that you can't even tell friend from foe. Security forces whose training isn't exactly up to scratch. Yes, the great Iraqi security forces, America's last best hope. Bullshit.

5. Is Iraq worth the sacrifice? Only if the American (and Iraqi) people actually see, feel and taste progress toward peace and stability. Unfortunately, they don't have that. What they have are daily car and suicide bombings, political assasinations, a never-ending insurgency and a government that can't seem to govern. After two years, everyone has a right to expect tangible progress toward better lives. No one has seen that yet.

Yes, my people. It is true. This Republican Administration is evil to its core.

Two years on and the administration remains as deluded as ever.
